To secure your booking date and time with Seona Mercer Photography, the required deposit or session fee is due at the time of booking, the remainder payment is due before or on the day of your photo session.
Images will not be released to the client until full payment has been made.
The deposit is non refundable but can be transferred to another photo session.
Deposits for pre booked photo sessions that cannot go ahead due to any Covid-19 lockdown will be transferred to another photo session date.
Package prices are set & are not negotiable.
Please note that if the deposit & client information form are not completed within one week of requesting a session date then the booking will not be confirmed and will be offered to the next client on the waiting list.
Your images will be professionally edited to Seona Mercer’s style.
After your photo session a sneak peep of a few images will be available to you, either on Seona Mercer’s Facebook business page and/or instagram as well as via text.
Your images will be ready within approx. 2-3 weeks
The images you receive are carefully chosen by Seona Mercer to include pose and technical aspects and are provided in both colour and black & white.
If it is not possible for a session to take place on a scheduled day for Covid studio shut down, emergency or medical reasons, bad weather or the client/clients children are sick then the Photographer and Client will reschedule on an agreed date at the earliest date possible, at no extra charge. Pre paid deposits will be transferred to another photo session date.
If the Photographer is sick, the Photographer and Client will reschedule on an agreed date at the earliest date possible, with no discounts offered.
Photographs will be delivered either by digital download to the clients nominated email address or by post or personal delivery to the Client on USB depending on the package chosen.
Images are provided as high resolution JPEG files. Images will be provided fully edited, including stray hair removal, skin correction, removal of scars and heavy blemishes and tonal conversions (colour images to black and white). Heavy glamour editing is not available, birth marks are left as is, unless specifically asked by the clients to have them removed.
The Photographer will not be responsible for photographs not taken as a result of the Client’s failure to provide reasonable assistance or cooperation.
RAW images, unedited images, out takes or duplicate images are not available and are deleted to preserve space on the photographer’s hard drives.
The photographer will keep a back up copy of all images provided to the clients for 2 years only.
Clients are encouraged to download and back up all photos received within a timely manner to avoid loss of images as the photographer is not responsible for images lost.
The Photographer is not responsible if Client and/or key individuals fail to appear or cooperate during portrait sessions, or for missed images due to details not revealed to Photographer.
The Photographer retains copyright of the photographs, and hereby grants the Client unlimited rights to use or reproduce the non-watermarked photographs.
Client grants the Photographer with prior permission rights to publish photographs on the photographer’s website, blog & social media pages for the purpose of client preview and advertising.
If you do not wish to have any images shown on social media, please let the photographer know.
Client will not hold the Photographer responsible for any accidental injury that may happen before, during or after the session.
Children's behaviour in the studio is the responsibility of the parent/guardian and must agree to supervise children at all times to avoid any injury or breakages.
In booking and commissioning the photographer (Seona Mercer) you agree to the terms stated above.
